Urban Paws nyc

Before we begin, I need to make sure your pooch is a good match with me and I with him/her. All dogs must pass an initial temperament evaluation, complete the meet and greet process and wear a current dog license and ID tag. Dogs cannot be aggressive with other dogs or people and must be responsive to basic commands.

Detailed information about the policies will be provided during our initial meet and greet session. Basic guidelines are included here for your convenience. 

The Sign up process:

1. Quick Questionnaire/Sign up Form

Fill out the questionnaire and sign up form. This will help me get to know your dog. Click here for questionnaire.

2. Clean Bill of Health & Veterinarian Release

Your dog should be healthy and up to date on the following vaccinations: DHLPP, Bordatella and Rabies.

I will also need you to read and sign the veterinarian release form which allows me to take your pet to the vet in case of an emergency.Click here for Veterinarian Release Form.

3. Dog Walking Service Agreement

This is a "contract" that is signed by the client and by me. Please read carefully and should you have any questions or concerns feel free to discuss them with me. Service Agreement

4. Meet and Greet

Schedule a meet and greet session with me in your home to interact with you and your pet, discuss service and to answer any questions you have.

This should take about 30 minutes and includes getting to know your pet, finding out his/her favorite activities, toys and any other special needs or information.

Please download and fill out all necessary paperwork and have it ready at this time.

5. Choose your package

Monthly services are offered for more than one visit per week or sign up for a single day here or there to help you out during busy times.

Cancellation

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Pet owner will be responsible for the walk fee if a walk is canceled less than 24 hours in advance.
